The Center-Bohemian village Tišice is situated in a beautiful natural landscape of the Elbe lowlands about 25km north-east of Prague on the right bank of the Elbe river, which flows through the edge of the village and about 10 km from Mělník, on the road Mělník – Stará Boleslav.  Tišice village consists of three boroughs – Tišice, Chrást and Kozly and altogether they offer beautiful surroundings, plenty of greenery, very interesting locations with opportunities to enjoy both relaxing and sporting, such as cycling,  in-line skating, hiking, swimming in the sand pit, mushroom picking, and fishing in local waters, such as the Old Elbe – called the Fishing Paradise. Hunters from all over Bohemia seek a modern equipped gun shooting range and stylish hunting club. Old floodplain forests along the Elbe river are attractive for long walks. During summer season evenings, visitors can shorten their time with a visit to the summer cinema and restaurants with outdoor seating. In the winter season the local halls often prepare many cultural events.
